Accounts Receivable Factoring

Accounts Receivable Factoring is selling your invoices to a funding source usually known as a Factor for a small discount.

Our lenders can facilitate factoring facilities for almost any Commercial Receivables from $500,000.00 up to $100,000,000.00 plus.

Commercial Receivables originate from the sale of goods and/ or services by a business to another business or a government entity.

The main advantage we offer borrowers is that the vast majority of our lenders are direct portfolio lenders. This means that they originate transactions directly with their own funds or with discretionary funds committed to them by investors and hold them in their portfolio or on their balance sheet until maturity. They do not securitize the loans and sell them  in the secondary market. This provides for maximum flexibility in customized deal structuring that is impossible with conventional lenders whose loans have to fit within a predefined box that will allow for their subsequent securitization and sale. We also have several direct portfolio lenders that can accommodate loans in excess of $50,000,000.00 without the need to syndicate.

How Factoring Works

Your company bills its customers in the usual way along with sending a copy of the invoice to a factoring company (known as a factor). Once the invoice is verified, the factor will advance your company 70% up to 85% plus of the face value of the invoice and assume the right to receive payment from your customers. Once the factor receives full payment on the invoice, they will release the reserved funds to your company minus a nominal fee for advancing the funds.

It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to set up a new factoring account with a factoring company. Once set up, funds can be advanced on your submitted invoices within 24 - 48 hours by wire transfer to your bank.

Advantages of Factoring

1.
Factoring is based on the strength of your customers rather than on your personal and business financial's. You can literally use your customers' good credit rating to get financing.
2.
When you factor, you do not incur a new debt. Factoring is not a loan, it is a discounted purchase of your invoices.
3.
Dependable and improved cash flow that improves your credit rating and boosts your financial statements.
4.
You can take advantage of cash discounts for early payment and volume purchases from your vendors.
5.
You can offer better credit terms to your customers.
6.
Lost business to better financed competitors is avoided.
7.
Factoring is the only type of financing that grows with your sales. The larger your invoices get so will your funding.
8.
Makes cash available for survival of lean times e.g. seasonal crunches or to fund payroll.
